The City of Prince Albert has received a $25,000 donation from the Schrader family that will go toward the new Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre.
To recognize the contribution, Officials Room #1 of the twin arenas will be named in honour of Barry Schrader, a referee of over 40 years who has officiated in over 7000 games in both Prince Albert and across the province.
The naming recognition will be a tribute to Schrader’s officiating work and mentorship to young officials and will remain place for at least 10 years.
The donation is helping to bring the $117 million facility to life.
